Vanagon Owners

Remanufactured Drive Shafts

If your Bug® or Bus® has 100,000 miles or unknown mileage on it because it has gone through 15 owners and five speedometer heads and you haven’t’ replaced your previous shafts in the last five years and the previous owners hadn’t done it in the past 20, maybe it’s time. Remove your drive shafts, disassemble them, and clean them, and inspect the balls, races, and cages for wear, and replace the CV joints which are worn and repack both ends in new molivdisulfide grease and install four new boots. While you’re at it you should sand blast and paint the shafts. This should last you for five more years or if you don’t want to get greasy, you could buy two remanufactured drive shafts from us and have the problem solved for ten years. What the heck, you just love to be covered in grease. Do it yourself.

Vanagon Girling Factory Calipers

   Front caliper assemblies for Vanagons® (1986-92).  These are brand new calipers with carriers.  A direct replacement for all ‘86-92.

   Dealer price is $487.60 each.  We purchased these,  surplus, from VW.  Why buy remanufactured when new is so cheap?!  Remember: when ordering pads specify pads for ‘86-92,

as that is what these are.
