Oxygen Sensor

We sell both “universal” and OE long wire type O2 sensors. The universal sensors are BOSCH and come with about 3" of wire and a crimp connector. You reuse the long wire off your old sensor. The OE sensor is virtually the same, but 5 minutes less work because you don’t have to splice. The OE style are BOSCH and come with the long original equipment wire, no splicing. Both are 100% excellent. The long wire type is more expensive. Remember the physics of the OEM ones and the universal ones are 100% identical!  They work the same, are made the same!!!!  Don’t be afraid of a universal!!

Ignition Coils

VW Coils were bulletproof until they “improved” it in about ‘93.  After then there are many problems in all of them.  If it doesn’t run right; yes it could be the coil, check it.

Distributors

If your distributor is just plain worn out - the shaft wobbles or the oil seal leaks (this is common on 16 valve models), you need a new distributor. We have recycled distributors available for most cars, or new distributors for many as well. Get the part# (it is stamped on the body of the distributor) before you call us so we can match it up exactly from $50.00.

Spark Plug Wires

We sell genuine Bosch® plug wires for every VW®, but in many cases, we have alternate wires available which are just as good and are the same wires VW® uses in the plant when they build your car. These wires are an excellent value!
