SELECTION GUIDE
Alternators are basically all the same except how they mount, i.e. the spacing of the bolt holes and how far the pulley sticks out of the front. These changes are made to accommodate air conditioning, diesel engines, etc. The electrons made by all alternators are the same and almost all VW/Audi alternators are 65 or 90 amps.
