Brake Check Valve: Jetta, Rabbit, Scirocco 77-84

VW brake check valve. The brake system check valve is installed in the vacuum line that runs from the engine to the brake booster. These can get stuck and change the feel of your brakes. If vacuum can't get to the booster, you will have to push a lot harder on the brake pedal to slow down.

A failing VW brake check valve will lead to the system not working like it is designed. This can cause brake fluid to over heat leading to it being replaced. If you don’t have a Bentley manual for your Volkswagen yet, add one to your order, so you know you are fixing your VW the proper way.
