I got the car in October 1987 with 26,000 miles on the odometer. My 1970 VW Cabrio after 18 years & 176,000 miles was starting to run out of gas, and I needed a replacement. The ’79 is a mostly original car. Body-wise nothing has been replaced, except the top. The engine was rebuilt @ 152,000 miles. Thank you for the knowledge and the parts I have ordered over the years.
