Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

If you have any concerns or questions about the core charge or shipping charges, please call us at 586.757.2300.

These are new top quality, direct fit replacement vented brake discs. Each side sold separately but perform best when replaced in pairs. Measures 272mm/10.7".

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

Warped and worn VW front brake discs damage brake pads; so, pick up a set to go on your Volkswagen. Also, if you haven’t taken a look at the rear brakes on your Volkswagen, you should check them out now to make sure the rear brake discs are in good shape. If the rear brake discs are in rough shape, consider replacing them now with the discs shown below.
