Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

If you have any concerns or questions about the core charge or shipping charges, please call us at 586.757.2300.

VW New Beetle radiator fan. This top quality radiator cooling fan is designed to work with the 4 cylinder New Beetles. The cooling fan does the most work when you are stopped or moving very slowly. Check to make sure the power to the fan works before you take it apart, but this is what makes sure the air keeps flowing. Keep your cool for many more miles! Fan measures 345mm/13.6". Two speed rated for 250W/60W.

Condition: New

Warranty

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

When you replace the main VW New Beetle radiator fan you will want to check your secondary cooling fan. It could have over worked itself and be on the way to failure in your Golf, Jetta or New Beetle burning up. If your engine was overheating, remember to check and adjust your coolant and water mixture. If it reached the boiling point, it boiled the water out of the mixture so now is a great time to check and adjust the mixture.
