Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

If you have any concerns or questions about the core charge or shipping charges, please call us at 586.757.2300.

VW Beetle brake line kit. Use this brake line kit to replace rusted and corroded brake lines in your original VW Beetle. The brake lines sit in a position that lets salt and water accumulate on the brake lines and corrode them. You should be inspecting these lines annually if you want your Beetle to keep on stopping. This kit includes 6 pieces to replace the hard metal lines in your Beetle including the main line.

Condition: New

Warranty

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

This VW Beetle brake line kit is to replace the hard brake lines, but you should also inspect the rubber brake lines at this time. You can get all the parts you need for your Beetle in the rubber hose only kit. Stick with top quality fluids in your Volkswagen. The fluid shown below meets all DOT 4 standards, and it blue so you can see when all your old fluid is out.
