Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

Used VW AAZ injection pump bracket. This bracket supports your injection pump to the AAZ engine only. The brackets do not break often, but sometimes may be bent in an accident or you need one for a conversion project. These are good used brackets taken from engines removed from vehicles, and will line up your pulleys accurately.

Even though our used parts come with a bit of dust, rust, oil, or grease they are all backed by our same parts and replacement warranty; guaranteed to work on your Volkswagen. This is for pumps that have a 2.75" (69mm) snout.

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.
Do-it-Yourself Tip

You may need the used VW AAZ injection pump bracket to install an AAZ engine in your Rabbit, Jetta, Golf, Passat, or whatever you are using that engine in. If you are just starting to think of this project, we do have AAZ engines available, call for more details.
