Refundable Core Charge

If a product you are purchasing has a core charge you will see it in your shopping cart under the product.

A core charge is a little like a bottle deposit. You pay a core charge when you buy a rebuildable product, and get your money back when you return the core.

Cores are the used parts that may be returned when purchasing rebuildable parts. New, used, and remanufactured products may have a core charge. We send cores to our rebuilders to create a remanufactured part. Having a core charge on most rebuildable parts helps us keep our prices low, is a great way to recycle, and ensures there is product available for the next customer. If a core deposit is shown, this charge will be added to your total at the time of sale but is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original part. Cores are valuable to us; we need them back on a timely basis to be rebuilt so we have product to sell to the next customers. (See core return policy under warranties and return for more info)

If you have any concerns or questions about the core charge or shipping charges, please call us at 586.757.2300.

VW N75 valve. People commonly mistake a dead turbo for a failing N75 valve (the turbocharger vacuum controller). The N75 valve controls the vacuum that regulates the flow of air to the turbo inlet. When the N75 valve is dying you will notice that you are down on power when you want to accelerate.

Condition: New

Warranty

All products carry a 100 day warranty. Engines, cylinder heads, and injection pumps carry an extended 12 month warranty. See our warranty page for details.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

When your VW N75 valve goes bad, you should inspect the entire turbo vacuum actuated system. There could be other leaks that are affecting the performance of your Jetta, Golf, or New Beetle. The EGR valve is a critical component that should be inspected regularly.
