VW Passat rear passenger door handle. VW door handles have a tendency to break when they get old, or when you yank on them when they're frozen shut. To make sure it doesn't break again, spray the door latch inside the door with a lubricant so the mechanism operates smoothly and doesn't stick.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

A good way to protect your VW Passat rear passenger door handle is to keep the locking mechanism lubricated. Using a sticky lubricant, like gel-lube or white lithium will keep the internal linkages from binding and the latch operating smoothly.
