VW 2.0T cam position sensor. The cam position sensor (hall sender) sends information to the ECU so it can make performance adjustments. Without this sensor working properly in your engine, you will notice more misfires, and poor gas mileage. Replace so that your engine can return to normal, and stop misfiring.

In order to properly diagnose a failed VW 2.0T cam position sensor, you are going to need to pull the codes from your Volkswagens OBDII computer. The best way to do this is with a scanner, then refer to the Bently manuals to find out the proper steps to fix any code you pull. You may be surprised at how easy it is to really keep up on repairs on your VW.
