Turbocharger Vacuum Controller: Jetta, Golf, New Beetle 98-99 - TDI, N75

VW TDI turbo regulator valve. This valve is for the early MK4 TDIs that have a square connector. People commonly mistake a dead turbo for a failing N75 valve. The N75 valve controls the vacuum that regulates the flow of air to the turbo inlet. When the N75 valve goes bad you may notice that you don't have enough power for passing.

When your VW TDI turbo regulator valve goes bad, you should inspect the entire turbo vacuum system. The EGR valve is one spot to check for proper operation. If you find that you need an entirely new turbo assembly, we carry them as well.
