Don’t wait for the water pump to go bad, it is driven by the timing belt and if it causes the timing belt to break or jump time, you could experience a catastrophic engine failure. This is a high quality direct fit replacement. Make sure you check your engine code (should be a sticker on the timing cover) and verify that you have a BRM engine code.
