CIS Fuel Injector O-Ring

Fuel Injector O-ring: Injector Seal, VW CIS/CIS-E Injectors, 77-87

VW CIS injector o-ring seal. CIS injectors are held in to the cylinder head insulator by this o-ring. They harden up over time, and can cause air or fuel leaks. Replace all 4 seals when you change them. Sold each, one needed per injector, four injectors per vehicle.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

The fuel injector o-ring is part of a larger kit with more o-rings for all CIS engines, later model injectors have extra seals on them. Buy the whole kit to refresh them. Injectors can be tough to remove from the engine. Use this injector puller to make removal a snap, its cheaper than buying a new fuel line or injector if you break it by yanking on it.
