Transmission Fluid: DSG Transmission - 1 Liter

VW DSG transmission fluid. Volkswagen requires a special synthetic transmission fluid (G052182A2) for their DSG transmissions, typically called "Double Clutch Oil". This fluid is made by Pentosin, an OEM chemical provider to VW, and exceeds Volkswagens’ specifications. If you want to keep your DSG equipped Volkswagen shifting smooth and quick make sure to maintain it at proper service intervals of 20,000 miles. Sold each. 5 liters required to do the complete service.

About 5 liters of VW DSG transmission fluid is required to perform the service completely, get 6 just in case you . The first part of the DSG transmission fluid change is not much different than any other vehicle fluid change, but you will want a Bentley manual on hand to make sure you are going about it correctly. The second part after the DSG transmission fluid is in your vehicle gets technical and will require you to use a VAG-COM cable. It’s not a hard job but you want to get it right, and going this route will save you hundreds of dollars compared to the dealer.
