Vw fuel pressure accumulator. The fuel pressure accumulator is designed to hold readily available fuel pressure at the injectors for quick starting. As they age, the internal diaphragm loses its seal and they loose pressure causing the fuel to flow back toward the tank. This creates a section of fuel line with no fuel in it. When you try to start, the fuel has to be pumped passed the empty section, over working the fuel pump and starter, causing annoying hard start issues. A new fuel pressure accumulator should fix this problem. **Units currently being shipped may require modifications to mount, call for details. (10/18/11). Bosch # 0438170027.

If your VW fuel pressure accumlator is ok, you could have a problem with your fuel injectors. CIS injectors are pressed into the cylinder head with 0-rings to seal them. Once they have been in the engine for a while they are hard to remove. This handy little tool is designed specifically to make pulling out your injectors quick and easy, eliminating the risk of damaging your fuel lines or injectors. Also, our fuel pressure gauge kits allow you to test your fuel pressure and diagnose what is wrong with your car.
