VW vented front brake kit. Many VW's came from the factory with non-vented front brake discs. The vented discs were first introduced on the 83-84 GTI. They performed exceptionally well so people quickly began retrofitting vented discs to replace their non-vented discs to enjoy the superior performance. This kit includes the new VENTED discs, the new pads, the pad spring kit and some brake paste, everything you'll need to upgrade your non vented brake disc car, or just refresh the front brakes on a car with vented brakes.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

When installing your VW vented front brake kit, take a look at your brake pads. Your brake pads will wear evenly on each side of the disc if everything is moving freely with the caliper. If the pads do not look like they are wearing evenly, install remanufactured calipers so that the system will perform as intended.
