This VW Jetta rear muffler works on both the gas and diesel engine cars. If you notice that the rest of your exhaust system is rotting away too, you may want to consider using the diesel exhaust system shown below to fix all of it. Either way don’t forget to add the installation kit to install the rear muffler. It’s much easier to just dispose of your old hardware, and start new; plus you know it won’t break leading you to buying a new muffler.
