VW selector rod . When the ends of the shift selector rod get weak and crack your shifter will start to feel sloppy. The ends are plastic ball ends and once they go the only way to fix it is to replace it with this original equipment quality selector rod. This is the shorter of the 2 rods in your shift linkage. Measures 5.5" long. Sold each.
