VW clutch master cylinder. The clutch master cylinder is connected to the clutch pedal. Pressing the clutch pedal forces fluid from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder attached to the transmission. If you develop a leak, or your cylinder stops working properly, your clutch will not engage properly; or possibly even not at all. Replace it with this original equipment quality, direct fit replacement clutch master cylinder and get your Volkswagen back on the road.
Do-it-Yourself Tip
The clutch master cylinder works with the clutch slave cylinder to actuate the clutch. If you need to replace both of these items the clutch slave cylinder is shown below. Once you have your cylinders installed you will need to flush fresh brake fluid through them. Choose the ATE Super Blue brake fluid for longevity and maintenance free care on your master and slave cylinders.
