VW Vanagon upper control arm bushing. Two of these bushings go in the upper control arm of the VW Vanagon. They help dampen the suspension while going down the road. If you notice excessive noise from your front suspension, or extra play in your steering it could be these bushings. Sold each, 2 for each control arm, 4 required per vehicle.
Do-it-Yourself Tip
You may find that your lower bushings may be due for a change along with the VW Vanagon upper control arm bushings. Only one bushing is needed on the lower control arm for the Vanagon. It is shown below. The upper ball joint could have been damaged if your control arm bushings have worn out. Inspect them while you are replacing the control arm bushings on your Vanagon; if you need a replacement the part is shown below.
