Do-it-Yourself Tip

If you don’t have a way to pin point which VW VR6 injector you need to replace, you should add a VAG-COM scanner to your tool box. It will let you pull the engine computer codes and find what injector needs to come out. The Robert Bentley manuals have a listing of what the different codes mean, so you should pick up one of those, too.
