Clutch Installation Kit: Rabbit, Jetta, Golf, Scirocco 8V 77-92

VW clutch installation kit. If you are replacing the clutch, Volkswagen states you must replace (not reuse) all the bolts. Replacing the seals at the same time prevents leaks which cause an oil ruined disc. The kit includes the bolts, the main shaft seal, the push rod seal, and the rear main engine seal. Why risk the failure of a $900 clutch job over $50.

Do-it-Yourself Tip

When you use the VW clutch installation kit make sure to follow the proper torquing sequence to ensure proper clutch operation. While working on your transmission, we recommend replacing your gear oil. Synthetic gear oil will help reduce internal wear and improve the transmissions feel. The drain plug tool will makes this task possible. You'll need the tool to drain the old gear oil out of your transmission.
