Shock Bump Stop: Rabbit, Scirocco, Jetta 75-84 - Rear

VW rear shock bump stop. This rubber stop, sometimes referred to as a snubber, is an integral part of your suspension. As the shock compresses, the snubber assists in absorbing extreme loads to keep the rear suspension from bottoming out. Make sure you replace these when you rebuild your shocks.

Other components should be installed with rear shock bump stop. The kit below includes everything you need to rebuild rear shocks yourself, just reuse your upper spring cap. We also have the rear shock bolts if yours have rusted beyond use.
