Beetle Bumpers
A nice shiny new bumper really sets a Beetle off, and is a finishing touch on any restoration job. We have a fair selection of used bumpers up to 1973 and an excellent selection of ‘74-79 used bumpers.
New bumpers for Beetles are made in Brazil and are a good quality, ours are triple chromed-the best available anywhere and will last a good while if the chrome is kept waxed at least 3 times a year and the inside of the bumpers is painted and undercoated. The chrome is not exactly as good as the original german, but there are NONE, zero, original left anywhere. These are a good replacement certainly better than a "re-chrome."
